Nicholas Figueroa's family never gave up on him until the bitter end. They threw flowers and cheered on the FDNY searching for the 23-year-old man who was on a date at a sushi restaurant where the blast happened. However, their eyes filled with tears after they received a phone call. They then piled into an unmarked car and headed to the medical examiner's  office.
